November Thymes

As the holidays approach and colder weather here in the Northeast is arriving, I love to bring out my Sourdough starter and wake it up. It has been a few months since I have fed my starter and what better way to get it going than to make homemade Sourdough Crackers.

One of my favorite things about making these crackers is that they can be so versatile. You can add any toppings and seasonings you like and they come out different and delicious every time.

Ingredients:

About a cup of sourdough starter

Any seasonings or herbs you like

Flaky Finishing Salt to taste

Method:

Pour the starter on a greased baking tray

Sprinkle seasonings, herbs and salt

Bake for 25 minutes or until golden brown

A favorite of my toppings is my homemade Rosemary and Garlic Salt:

Enjoy!

Burnt Thyme- Beth Reed

Instead of burning time worrying, I rather be in the kitchen surrounded by food and flavors. Facing anxiety through cooking and getting that burnt time back.
