I saw a social media post about using ice cube trays for homemade pizza bites and I instantly wanted to make them, but alas, I didn’t have the right size, so I used a mini muffin tin and they still came out great.

I used the New York Times Cooking App Easy Pizza Dough recipe for the dough, store bought red sauce, GASP!, and vegan mozzarella to top. Plus pink corse finishing salt for the top and they came out as the perfect bite. These are a true crowd pleasure and accompaniment to any party, picnic or snack.

Ingredients:

New York Times Cooking App Easy Pizza Dough

1 cup of red sauce

1 cup of vegan parm or non dairy cheese of choice

Vegan pepperoni, sliced thin (optional)

Method:

Make the dough and roll it out thin

Add a layer into your ice cube trays or muffin tins

Spoon in red sauce and vegan parm

Add a layer of dough and pinch to seal

Brush with olive oil and sprinkle with finishing salt

Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes or until brown and cheese melted

Enjoy!

I LOVE making homemade dough!!

Instead of burning time worrying, I rather be in the kitchen surrounded by food and flavors. Facing anxiety through cooking and getting that burnt time back.
